The small print

Privacy

This is our wedding site, not a business. Here is everything it collects and what happens to it.

Short version. 2 people read what you send us, and they are the 2 getting married. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared, and there is no advertising on here. If you want something you sent us taken out, write to hello@alreadyhome.us and it is gone.

When you RSVP

The form asks for your name, your phone number, your email, how many are coming with you, their names if you want to list them, anything we should know about food, and a note if you have one. The phone and email are optional. We ask for them so we can reach you if something changes, which at nineteen months out is not a small possibility.

It lands in our own database and sits behind a sign in that only the 2 of us can get through.

When you write us something

The Box keeps your name, how you know us, and what you wrote. That is the whole point of it, and we intend to read those for a long time. If you would rather yours was not kept, say so and we will take it out.

If you give a card gift

The card itself goes to Square, who handle the payment. Your card number never touches this site and we never see it or store it. What we keep is the name, email and phone you typed in, the amount, and the receipt number Square gives back, so that Alisha knows who to thank.

Photographs

You can send us pictures and video from the day by uploading them at alreadyhome.us/share.

Nothing you send goes on the site until one of us has looked at it and said yes. Not automatically, not after a delay, not ever without a person deciding. If a picture of you does go up and you would rather it did not, write to hello@alreadyhome.us and we will take it down. You do not have to explain why.

The text line

Here is how it works. You will only ever get a text from us because you texted us first or asked to be on the list. Expect no more than a handful of messages, and only around the wedding itself. Reply STOP to any of them and you will not hear from that number again. Reply HELP and you will get a message telling you how to reach us. Message and data rates may apply, the same as any text.

If you text us a picture, the number you sent it from is kept with it so we know who to thank and who to ask before it goes up anywhere.

Your number is never shared with anyone else and it is never sold. That goes for the number itself and for the fact that you texted the line at all.

What this site does not do

There is no analytics on here, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no cookies on any of the pages you can see. The only outside thing these pages load is the typeface, which comes from Google Fonts. The sign in cookie belongs to the 2 of us on the private side and has nothing to do with you.

How long we keep it

This site is meant to outlast the wedding and turn into the place the family keeps its pictures, so assume what you send stays unless you ask us to remove it. Asking is one email and there is no process to it.

Who to write to

Anything at all, including taking your details out, having a photograph removed, or just asking what we have: hello@alreadyhome.us.

Already Home is Barry and Alisha's wedding site. The site and its text line are run by Barry Humphries Consulting LLC, Crossville, Alabama. Last changed October 13, 2026.
