The Box

We do not need a thing. Instead, this is what we are asking of you.

Between the 2 of us, there is not one thing we need. We would rather you come celebrate with us instead of stressing over a gift. That being said, there is no registry and no plans of having a shower.

If you want to give us something, write us something.

What will be on the table

Write one now

Pick a card and write it here. We print it on the same paper as the handwritten ones and it goes in the box with the rest.

The box will also be at the wedding with a stack of these cards and pens beside it, so you can sit down and write another one there. Most folks will do both, and we would rather have 2 from you than none.

If you already have a card, bring it. It goes in the box with everybody's notes.

The floor

This winter and into next year, we are pulling up the carpet in the bedrooms, the worn out floor in the living room and hall, and the cracked tile in the kitchen and dining room. We will be putting new floors throughout our home. We are planning to do the work ourselves. The material is the part that costs.

If you are the kind of person who simply cannot show up empty handed, that is where it would go. We do not want you to feel obligated to give anything, but we know there will be those of you who still want to give something, and we appreciate that. The folded piece of paper in the box is truly the only thing we want from you.
